🧵 Pattern Instructions

1. Body (Green – make 2 panels)

Ch 23.

  • Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (22).
  • Rows 2–36: ch 1, turn, sc across (22).
    👉 Each panel should measure about 9.5 cm wide × 18 cm tall.

Make 2 panels. Place them together and sc evenly around to join, leaving the top open. FO.


2. Red Elf Collar

Ch 23.

  • Row 1: sc across (22).
  • Row 2: (sl st in first st, skip 1, (sc, hdc, dc) in next st, skip 1) repeat across → this forms deep pointed spikes.

FO and sew around the top opening of the pocket.


3. Belt (Black)

Ch 32.

  • Row 1: sc across (31). FO.
  • Sew across the body about 2/3 down from the top.

4. Buckle (Yellow)

Ch 20, sl st to join into a loop.

  • Round 1: sc around (20).
  • Round 2: (sc, hdc, sc) in next st, sl st in next) repeat around to square off the edges.

Sew centered on the belt.


5. Buttons (Yellow – make 3 or 4)

  • MR, 6 sc, sl st to join. FO.
  • Make 3 or 4 buttons (depending on pocket height).
  • Sew down the middle above the belt.

🧩 Assembly

  1. Sew the red collar securely around the top opening.
  2. Attach the black belt across the front.
  3. Sew the yellow buckle on top of the belt.
  4. Sew 3–4 small yellow buttons vertically above the belt.
  5. Weave in all ends and shape gently with your hands.
