Join & Body Start (White → Sage Green):

  • From the second leg, ch 3, join to the first leg with a sc.
  • Work around the first leg: 18 sc
  • Work 3 sc across the chain bridge
  • Work around the second leg: 18 sc
  • Work 3 sc across the other side of the chain bridge
    = 42 sts total. This is Round 1 of the body.

Switch to Sage Green on Round 2 to start the shirt.

Quick Cord Tail:

  • ch 45–55, sl st back along the chain. FO and sew in place.

Heart Appliqué (Peach)

In MR (do not tighten fully until you finish):
All into MR: ch 2, 3 dc, 3 tr, 1 dc, 3 tr, 3 dc, ch 2, sl st into ring. Gently pull the MR tail to shape the bottom point of the heart. FO leaving a tail. Sew to the center of the shirt.


Assembly & Face Details

  1. Sew the head to the neck (Body Round 14 opening). Pin thoroughly and stitch securely.
  2. Attach ears to the top sides of the head.
  3. Sew the bow between the ears.
  4. Place the muzzle centered below the eyes and stitch all around.
  5. Sew cheek circles under the eyes.
  6. Attach arms symmetrically along the shirt.
  7. Sew the tail to the back.
  8. Embroider whiskers, brows, and mouth with black/brown thread.
  9. Add blush with soft pink yarn circles (already made) or a touch of fabric-safe blush.
  10. Weave in all ends and neaten seams.
