🪚 STRUCTURE TIPS (To make it look like the photo)

  1. Stuff the ship walls evenly and add cardboard base inside for firmness.
  2. Use wooden dowels or sticks for all mast parts – yarn alone will droop.
  3. Block sails flat by dampening and pinning to dry.
  4. Sew all sails firmly to dowels – use tight backstitch.
  5. Shape pirates upright by stuffing heads and bodies very firmly and sewing arms downward.
  6. Glue wave base or stitch it in place so the ship doesn’t tilt.
  7. Use hot glue to secure wooden parts where needed (inside ship for masts, beneath sails).

💡 Customization Ideas

  • Add a parrot on the mast!
  • Use gold yarn for coins in the ship’s deck
  • Make additional crew members or a treasure chest

This magical pirate ship and its adorable crew bring stories to life—perfect for a pirate-themed nursery, adventurous gift, or handmade playset! 🏴‍☠️⛵🌊
