Approx. 4–4.5 inches (10–11 cm) tall with DK yarn and 2.5–3.0 mm hook.


🧶 Materials

  • DK or worsted cotton yarn:
    • Beige/Cream – Body, head, wings, tufts
    • Orange – Beak and feet
    • White – Eye circles
    • Black – Pupils (or 8–10 mm safety eyes)
  • Crochet hook: 2.5–3.0 mm
  • Strong round craft magnet (approx. 20–25 mm)
  • Polyfill stuffing
  • Yarn needle & stitch marker

🪽 Wings (Make 2 – Beige)

    Flatten and FO. Sew slightly downward on sides of body.

🐾 Feet (Make 2 – Orange, with 3 Toes Each)

  3. Toe 1: ch 3, sl st back into same st
    Toe 2: ch 3, sl st into next st
    Toe 3: ch 3, sl st into next st
  4. Sc around rest of circle, FO.

👉 Position so three little toes point forward. Sew under body.


🐥 Ear Tufts (Make 2 – Beige)

  1. Ch 5
  2. sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc 3 (4)
    FO, leave tail and sew to top sides of head.

🧲 Magnet Placement

  • Insert a strong round magnet into the back of the body before final stuffing.
