Work loop stitches in spiral rows (or in turned rows if preferred) to cover the back and create the spiky texture.
Loop Stitch Tip:
Insert hook, wrap yarn around your finger to form a loop, yarn over behind loop and pull through stitch, yarn over and pull through both loops on hook.
Continue this process in spiral until the back is fully covered. FO and weave in end.
